Andrey Kosinov, Project Manager of the ECUO #Partnership Project, shared his expectations from the regional forum to be held in Kyiv on October 22-24.
“The three years of the Global Fund #Partnership Project are coming to an end. Now we are summarizing the experience and we see that an enormous amount of work has been carried out by our team and in the Secretariat, and especially in the 11 country Consortia. The very fact that initially the geography of a project to improve the sustainability of HIV services was planned to cover 5 countries, and we actually found an opportunity to expand it into 11 countries, is one of the criteria of #Partnership Project efficiency. On October 22-24 we will present real and measurable results achieved in the countries.
I would like to say that we certainly had some failures, or fuckups, as it is trendy to say now, but, by the way, they yielded some good practical experience.
Very soon we will present the results of our joint work, where practical case studies on issues of advocacy and improving access to HIV services will be showcased.
I am confident that the experience, expertise and potential accumulated by all the country consortia during the #Partnership Project will be useful for our partners who will further implement the program in Eastern Europe and Central Asia”.
Regional #PARTNERSHIP forum will be held on October 22-24 in Kyiv, where more than 150 stakeholders will meet: community representatives from Eastern Europe and Central Asia, NGO activists, experts, researchers, health care workers, doctors, scientists, politicians, government officials and representatives of international agencies, initiatives and organizations.
