AIDS 2014 Conference opens on July the 20th in MelbourneThe 20th International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2014) will open its doors on July the 20th in Melbourne. It is the premier gathering for those working in the field of HIV, as well as policy makers, persons living with HIV and other individuals committed to ending the pandemic.
 
 
 
 
The AIDS 2014 program will present new scientific knowledge and offer many opportunities for structured dialogue on the major issues facing the global response to HIV. A variety of session types – from abstract-driven presentations to symposia, bridging and plenary sessions – will meet the needs of various participants. Other related activities, including the Global Village, satellite meetings, exhibitions and affiliated independent events, will contribute to an exceptional opportunity for professional development and networking. As it became known special high level guests are expected at the Conference. President Bill Clinton, founder of the Clinton Foundation and 42nd President of the United States, UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibé and artist and activist Sir Bob Geldof will be among the high-level speakers who will join thousands of the world’s top AIDS researchers, community leaders, people living with HIV and policy-makers at AIDS 2014.

At the conference ECUO will present the PLWH community of East Europe and Central Asia: we’ll lead a workshop IT and Pharma, one Regional Secession,  Plenary on Women, HIV and Violence and a presentation of “Keep Calm and Get tested for HIV” campaign in form of salsa master class the Global Village.
