National Consultation took place in Kyrgyzstan

City of Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) held National Consultation for developing national community action plan on increasing access to quality and uninterrupted care in connection with for HIV-infection for all those who need it.
Representatives from public associations, funds, international organizations and Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic gathered for two-day conference on 17-18 November.
Participants discussed the need for community capacity building with a view to establish common mechanism of interaction of key groups.
Relying upon to the results of consultation, it was decided that communities would consolidate their efforts to efficiently impact on HIV prevention and community based advocacy of services financed with the national resources.

Development of the national community action plan on increasing access to quality and uninterrupted care in connection with HIV-infection for all those who need it it’s a part of the Regional Project «Partnership for equitable access to HIV care continuum in Eastern Europe and Central Asia region» within the framework of the New Funding Model of the Global fund to fight AIDS, TB and malaria. East Europe and Central Asia Union of People Living with HIV in partnership with Eurasian Harm Reduction Network provides overall coordination and control of the Program. Regional networks teamed up for development and implementation of the Regional and National plans: ECUO, Eurasian Harm Reduction Network (EHRN); Sex Workers Rights Advocacy Network (SWAN); Eurasian Coalition on Male Health (ECOM); Eurasian Women’s Network on AIDS; Eurasian Network of People Who Use Drugs(ENPUD); ITPCru; Teenergizer (Eurasian Associatioon of Adolescent and Youth «Teenergizer»); TBpeople; Regional Network of legal assistance for people living with HIV.
